Pocket Spring Unit

Pocket Spring units consist of individual small springs each housed in separate fabric pockets. The main benefit of pocket spring units is that they work independently of each other to respond to individual body weight. In addition the independence of the spring units facilitates independent movement on the mattress - where one person tosses and turns the other should be undisturbed.

The lower spring counts will have a larger diameter spring, whereas the higher spring counts will have a smaller diameter. Therefore, a higher spring count unit count will give more benefit to a heavier weighted person, as their weight will be equalised over a greater number of springs.
